Operation Gym Membership Revitalization...aka i'm out of excuses for not going

There are so many tasks in the day that require our time that aren't centered on us or our's called adulting. In this day and age people have devoted entire websites, blogs, social media platforms to reforming your health and your body and even wrapped up in pretty filters to make you feel good about those yoga pants you've been sporting everyday as they're just too comfortable to part with at this point. I myself am tasked with getting back in the gym for two main reasons. One the littlest one is at the 12 month mark, I can't use the baby weight excuse for too much longer and two I wanted to find an outlet that was sustainable to me and my schedule because all too often I have double and tripled book myself into something and don't just stop to breathe. Growing up I always was involved in a sport and I can definitely feel the differences in my inner body workings when i'm working out or not. So I rejoined a gym and go 4 days a week and dedicate 30-45 minutes to myself (dependent upon that double booking thing we discussed earlier).

Now if i'm being honest gym time in my 30's looks a lot different than gym time in my 20's. Number 1 I joined a fancier gym because a. i'm a germaphobe (sue me I believe there is a correlation to how much you pay the person, at their hourly rate, who cleans your equipment and how good of a job is done ) and b. I needed something that also doubles down with childcare if I have to take the kids along due to schedules, intramural teams (for the oldest so he can have a structured activity while i'm busy) and spa services (because dammit if i'm being completely honest i literally just went two months without getting my brows touched up bc I couldn't find time in my schedule..what a convenience to leave your workout and go downstairs and have someone do it in 10 mins and then pick up your kids all in one location (we can further discuss this in my time management post).

But in all seriousness as a tired and stressed out human alot of days due to a multitude of reasons it's nice to have an outlet to decompress into and at the same time burn a calorie for my health. What are your thoughts on gym time or health oriented outlets?
