My oldest is going to Kindergarten...if I can actually let go of his hand and allow him to enter the

If one hasn't figured it out yet i'm obsessed with my children, literally obsessed. I go around trying to smell them in the folds of their neck when I think they're not looking or too tired to ward me off and there are reason for this. The largest one being without sounding entirely cliche that their childhood and stages of growth go by exceptionally too fast and I want every moment I can savor as a mother and a working mother (this is not take away from that fact that I too have occasional thoughts of running away to join a commune to escape them when they get on my nerves).

There's a previous post about the choosing process and my husband and my own's experience in the private versus public school debate and what environment once we finally decided on that aspect would be the right fit for our child. Well we picked a school and today is the day he starting his new venture. To say i'm not ready is an understatement..but he is and because of this his father was able to pry his fingers out of mine so that they could make it to the first day of school on time. My husband and I cannot keep him safe when he's not with us and we cannot promise him all people will be good to him and see the light that he is but we can promise to guide and be present and be enmeshed all in in this new journey and allow him to continue to grow into the amazing little human he is and will be. Rumble baby boy...Rumble...
